Description
The Franciacorta Rosé from the winery Santa Lucia is a refined cuvée made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, selected from vineyards located in the municipality of Rodengo Saiano. The harmonious combination of these two grape varieties gives the wine a perfect balance of structure, freshness, and elegance, enhancing the distinctive characteristics of the Franciacorta terroir.
The manual harvest takes place at the ideal moment of ripeness, ensuring the maximum aromatic expression of the grapes. The winemaking involves a gentle pressing to preserve the color and finesse of the Pinot Noir, followed by fermentation in stainless steel and used oak barrels, at a controlled temperature of 16°C. The wine then ages on the lees for a minimum of 24 months, developing complexity and creaminess.
It presents an elegant onion skin color with fine and creamy perlage. The nose reveals delicate notes of blackberry and raspberry, typical of Pinot Noir, harmonized by the freshness and refinement of Chardonnay. The palate is balanced and enveloping, with a pleasant persistence that invites another sip.
Perfectly paired with appetizers, cold cuts, red meat dishes, and gourmet pizza.
