Description

The Asti di Fontanafredda sparkling wine is born in vineyards located in high vocation slopes located in the municipalities of Calosso d'Asti, S. Stefano Belbo, Treiso, Serralunga d'Alba and Alba, on soils composed mainly of clayey marl.

The Moscato grapes, harvested in the first ten days of September, once in the cellar undergo a soft pressing, followed by fermentation at low temperature according to the Charmat method.

Of a pale straw yellow, it presents itself to the nose with the primary aromas of the grape from which it is produced, including honey, musk, orange blossom, lime, acacia, hawthorn. On the palate it is sweet and harmonious.

Excellent with fruit, it is the ideal combination with Christmas desserts such as panettone and pandoro, but also with other cream and cream-based spoon desserts.
