Description

The 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whiskey from the Macallan Fine Oak line is a single malt whiskey produced in the famous Highlands islands, in Speyside, Scotland. This whiskey is aged for 12 years in ex-sherry and American ex-bourbon oak barrels.

Straw yellow in color, Macallan's 12 Year Old Fine Oak opens to the nose with a complex bouquet characterized by hints of fruit and heather honey. On the palate it is medium-bodied and balanced, with fruity, oak and spicy notes, which accompany a pleasantly persistent finish of candied fruit.

Ideal to be served straight or with ice, it is perfect as an ingredient for making cocktails and long drinks.
