Description
The Fiano di Avellino Sarno 1860 comes from the hills of Candida, in the province of Avellino, cultivated on soils of clay-limestone matrix with a good presence of white rock and volcanic residues.
Manual harvest of the grapes, then fermentation in steel at controlled temperature with indigenous yeasts. The winemaking process ends with an aging of 8 months on the fine lees and another 4 months in glass.
Straw yellow with greenish reflections, it offers a complex olfactory bouquet reminiscent of mandarin and yellow plum, reached by pleasant shades of sage. The palate is broad and clean, with a beautiful freshness and salinity, tending to a long-lasting finish.
Valuable in the company of fish-based main courses or white meats in general.
