Description

Mastroberardino, one of Irpinia's best known wineries, has created this pure Fiano di Avellino that knows how to combine the freshness of a white wine with an unusual complexity and density for its type.

The grape-terroir combination was enhanced by the Fiano di Avellino grapes from the Santo Stefano del Sole estate, located at 550 meters above sea level and defined by a deep sandy-sandy soil, rich in mineral substances. In the second half of October the grapes are harvested manually and vinified in steel. Refine in the bottle for 3/4 months before being put on the market.

Straw yellow, opens its bouquet on fruity tones of pear, pineapple, citrus and dried fruit, on a floral background of acacia and hawthorn. Confirms the citrus note of grapefruit, to the taste, where freshness and softness coexist. It closes on a creamy trail of dried fruit.

Ideal with white meats and shellfish, it goes very well with a velvety chickpea with prawns.
