Description
The Fiano di Avellino di Fonzone was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Lapio, in the heart of Irpinia.
It is made entirely from Fiano grapes, harvested and selected by hand in the first ten days of October. After a soft pressing, the must ferments in stainless steel tanks at low controlled temperature, for about 1 month. Subsequently the wine ages in steel for 5 months before being bottled.
This Fiano di Avellino is characterized by a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose opens with delicate aromas of citrus and orange blossom, enriched with notes of linden and almond paste. On the palate it is fresh and balanced, with a pleasantly viscous and persistent finish.
Perfect to accompany fish and oyster dishes, it is ideal in combination with grilled vegetables.
