Description
Etna Rosso Tenuta San Michele was born in the homonymous vineyard of the Sicilian company Murgo, located in Santa Venerina, in the province of Catania.
This wine is made by assembling Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes, harvested and selected from the best areas of the vine. After the vinification processes, the wine is left to rise for 12 months in barrique and then in steel, where it refines its organoleptic characteristics.
It has an intense ruby red color. The nose has interesting spicy aromas, with warm fruity notes and sweet sensations of vanilla and toasted hazelnut. In the mouth the minerality of these lands dominates, well accompanied by a good structure and refined tannins, which make it a perfect wine for meditation.
Ideal in combination with spicy Sicilian dishes or traditional Arabic cuisine, it is also excellent with elaborate first courses.
