Description
The Etna Rosso of Cantina Benanti was born in vineyards located in the Catania municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia, on the slopes of Etna.
It is produced with Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes, harvested by hand after the middle of October. After the classic red winemaking processes, the wine ages for 8-10 months in small barrels and ages in bottle for several months before being released on the market.
Etna Rosso by Cantina Benanti has a ruby red color. The nose opens with pleasant sensations of vanilla and ripe fruit. On the palate it is elegant and harmonious, a wine with remarkable persistence.
This red is perfect to accompany red meats and aged cheeses.
