Description

Etna Rosso Alta Mora represents the first wine of the new vineyard owned by the Cusumano brothers, located at the foot of the Etna volcano, in Sicily, a territory of the highest quality.

Obtained entirely from Nerello Mascalese grapes, harvested and selected by hand during the second decade of October, this wine, after pressing and maceration, carries out malolactic fermentation in steel. Finally it rests and ages in large 25 hl wooden barrels, before being bottled and refined for a short time in glass.

Etna Rosso Alta Mora is characterized by a very intense ruby red colour and a typical aroma of violet, cassis and sweet spices. In the mouth there is a marked flavour, due to the great minerality of the area around Etna, well supported by an excellent structure and a very well balanced general harmony.

Perfect to accompany seasoned cheeses and grilled red meats, also very spicy and spicy.
