Description

The Etna Rosso Guardiola of Tenuta delle Terre Nere was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia, in the most suitable districts of the northern slope of Etna.

It is produced with Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes, harvested in the second decade of October. Fermentation takes place in barriques at a controlled temperature of 28-30 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 16-18 months and for a further period in the bottle.

It is characterized by a ruby red color, with orange reflections. The nose opens with aromas of ripe fruits, enriched with pleasant spicy notes of aromatic herbs. On the palate it is broad, elegant and enveloping, with a persistent sapidity.

Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with first courses and aged cheeses.
