Description

Volcanic and disruptive elegance, Fragore conquers for its extraordinary vocation to power. Valuable fruit of the Nerello Mascalese of Contrada Montelaguardia comes to life in eastern Sicily, north side of Etna, in the Montelaguardia district of Randazzo. The composition of the sandy soil, rich in minerals, gives the wine elegance and style. After the harvest, manual and in small wooden boxes, the fermentation takes place in steel with maceration on the skins for 10-12 days at a temperature of 25 ° C. The wine then ages for 14 months in French oak and a further 10 months in bottle .

Intense ruby red in the glass, it expresses its wide and deep bouquet, and gives the nose persuasive hints of spices and berries, combined with mineral and balsamic notes. On the palate it reflects its bouquet and offers important tannins: it closes in a finish of remarkable persistence.

Excellent with legumes, mushrooms and tasty meats, it will be a pleasant discovery with the Peking duck.
