Description
Masseria Setteporte's Etna Rosso is an oenological excerpt from Etna that has its roots in the town of Biancavilla, on the slopes of the volcano.
It is a very traditional blend of 95% Nerello Mascalese and 5% Nerello Cappuccio. The soils of this area are characterized by their black colour, a sign of their origin and volcanic composition. Once harvested and pressed, the grapes ferment in stainless steel vats. The wine matures for 9 months before being bottled and released.
The colour is ruby red. The bouquet is marked by red fruits and wild berries on a mineral and sulphurous background typical of the region. The palate is delicate, very fine and persistent. The elegantly chiselled tannins confirm its class.
Perfect with a Nebrodi black pork tenderloin
