Description

This red wine produced by the Neri company originates in the heart of Etna, in the Linguaglossa area, where the vineyards of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio benefit from a unique volcanic terroir. The vineyards, located at 700 meters above sea level with an east-facing exposure, are characterized by an age ranging from 5 to 25 years, offering a balance of freshness and complexity.

Vinification occurs according to traditional methods, with fermentation in open fermenters and a maceration period of 8-10 days. Alcoholic fermentation is conducted with selected yeasts, while aging takes place in steel for about 5 months. This process preserves the freshness and vivacity of the wine, keeping the varietal characteristics of the grapes intact.

It has a red color with ruby reflections, and on the nose it presents itself as elegant and complex, with hints of ripe fruit and delicate notes of sweet spices. On the palate, it is balanced, with a pleasant persistence and a harmonious structure that enhances its mineral character and depth.

Perfect with meat or vegetable appetizers, first courses, and second courses of grilled white or red meat.
