Description
The Etna Rosso of the Montedolce company was born in vineyards located on Etna, in the province of Catania.
The wine is made from Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes, two native vines of Sicily. The grapes are vinified in thermoregulated steel tanks. Aging takes place for 60% in steel, for the rest in French oak tonneaux for a total period of 12 months. It rests 4 months in the bottle before being placed on the market.
Ruby red in color, the nose reveals aromas of wild berries. The sip is full, with soft tannins.
Excellent in combination with red meats and game as well as with aged cheeses.
