Description

The Isolano white wine of Donnafugata was born on the northern slope of Etna, in Randazzo and Castiglione di Sicilia. It is part of the Dolce&Gabbana and Donnafugata collection, a partnership between two ambassadors of Made in Italy.

The wine is produced from Carricante grapes with small percentages of other white vines. The grapes are vinified in thermo-controlled steel tanks. The wine obtained is aged for 9 months in the same containers and for at least 12 months in the bottle.

Straw yellow in color, the nose expresses aromas of lemon peel, yellow apple and Mediterranean herbs. The sip is fresh and enveloping, with an elegant and persistent finish.

It goes well with tasty fish-based first courses and grilled fish.
