Description

Estate Oak Rye 15 Years Old is a rye whiskey made from a blend of spirits aged at least 15 years. This premium product has won numerous awards, including a double gold medal at the 2017 SF World Spirits Competition. It is one of the most mature and refined expressions of the WhistlePig distillery in America.

The whiskey is aged in new Vermont oak barrels, featuring a custom toasting and charring profile, which further enriches the complexity of the spirit. This special maturation process imparts notes of wood and spice, as well as a structured and deep body.

On the nose it presents intense aromas of caramel, vanilla and oak, accompanied by hints of burnt orange. On the palate it is warm, rich and slightly creamy, with flavors of caramel, baking spices and a delicate hint of tobacco. The finish is exceptionally long, enveloping and inviting.

It can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks and pairs perfectly with dark chocolate, enhancing the intense flavours of the whisky.
