Description
Lambrusco Emilia Radici d'Italia by Terre Forti is a semi-sweet sparkling red wine from Emilia-Romagna, Italy. Made from 100% Lambrusco grapes, this wine is appreciated for its soft profile and very balanced sweetness. The vineyards are located in plains and hills at an altitude of 150 meters, with clay-silty soil.
The grapes are harvested both by hand and by machine in September. After destemming and pressing, the must remains in contact with the skins for 8 days. The primary fermentation takes place in tanks at a controlled temperature between 16-19°C for 8 days, followed by a second fermentation of 15 days. The wine is then aged in stainless steel tanks for up to 3 months before bottling at a pressure of 2.5 bar, with a final residual sugar of 42 g/l.
It has a lively ruby color and beautiful extraction. On the nose it is varied and refined, with notes of plum jam and dried fruit that blend with the delicate sweetness of the wine. In the mouth it is full and enveloping, with a perfect balance between freshness and sweetness, maintaining a pleasant persistence.
This Lambrusco pairs well with fish dishes, cheese and grilled vegetables.
