Description
The Áldás Egri Bikavér Superior red wine from the St. Andrea company. This wine, better known as "Bull's Blood", was born in Hungary, in the Eger wine region.
It consists of Blaufränkisch (locally called Kékfrankos), Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Kadarka and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, which are vinified in thermo-controlled steel tanks. The wine subsequently ages in French oak barrels for 11 months.
Ruby red in color, it reveals aromas of black fruits and cocoa. The sip is crunchy, with discreet tannins and medium structure.
It pairs well with pasta with ragù and grilled meat.
