Description
The Grands Echézeaux Grand Cru by Louis Jadot was born in Flagey-Echézeaux, in a prestigious place nestled between the areas of Clos Vougeot and Vosne Romanée, in the prestigious Côte de Nuits. This privileged position, with an east/south-east exposure on calcareous soils, helps to create a wine of notable structure and complexity.
The grapes are harvested by hand and transported with extreme care and fermented in oak barriques. Aging lasts 15 months on fine yeasts, ensuring excellent integration of aromas and a velvety texture.
Ruby red in color, it reveals to the nose a depth of aromas that range from notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, to earthy and spicy nuances. In the mouth it is well structured, with silky tannins that intertwine with a lively acidity, leading to a long and elegant finish, with a beautiful persistence.
It pairs perfectly with red meat dishes, game and mature cheeses, offering a high-level tasting experience, capable of enhancing the most special occasions.
