Description
Dolcetto d'Alba Monte Aribaldo is produced by Marchesi di Gresy on the Monte Aribaldo estate, one of their 4 estates. The other 3 are Martinenga, La Serra and Monte Colombo, all located in the Langhe or Monferrato and with an area of 45 hectares of vineyards.
The 100% Dolcetto grapes are carefully selected by hand before proceeding with vinification with maceration with the cap raised for 6-7 days at a controlled temperature. The refinement takes place in cement and steel and lasts 5 months.
Ruby red in color with purple reflections, the nose reveals aromas of cherry, currant, blueberry jam. The sip is well structured, harmonious and with a slightly almondy finish.
To be combined with stuffed pasta with meat sauce, cured meats and cheeses and with pizza.
