Description
Dolcetto d'Alba del Castello di Perno is a red wine produced with 100% Dolcetto grapes, sourced from vineyards located in the Langhe hills in Piedmont.
The vinification begins with destemming and cold maceration for 48 hours, followed by spontaneous fermentation with maceration for about 14 days at a controlled temperature. The wine is then refined in steel for about 6 months before being bottled, then further refined in the bottle for at least another 6 months before being released for sale.
This wine has a bright ruby red color. The nose reveals aromas of fresh red fruit such as strawberry and blackberry, accompanied by floral notes and a light hint of almond. The palate is dry, with good freshness, soft tannins and a harmonious finish.
This Dolcetto d'Alba is perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauces.
