Description
Boschi di Berri wine is a red wine of the Marcarini company, a very particular Dolcetto d'Alba because of the vines from which it is born. In fact, these are vines whose planting dates back to the end of the 19th century, untouched by phylloxera, the disease that killed most of the European vineyard in a few months, thanks to the partially sandy soil in which they have their roots. The company's goal is to produce a "traditional Dolcetto".
Once the must is obtained from the Barbera grapes, it ages for 10 months in steel and rests for 2 months in the bottle before being put on the market.
In the glass the wine appears of a beautiful intense ruby color. The olfactory profile is outlined on hints of violet and ripe red fruit. In the mouth the sip has a fair body and is well balanced.
Ideal in combination with first courses, roast meats and fresh cheeses.
