Description

Dolcetto d'Alba di Massolino comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba, in the province of Cuneo.

It is obtained only from Dolcetto grapes, harvested by hand in the second half of September. Fermentation takes place, with maceration in contact with the skins, for 7-9 days in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 27-29 ° C. Once the malolactic fermentation is over, the wine ages briefly in the same containers, followed by a further 4 months of aging in bottle.

It exhibits an intense ruby red color, with violet reflections. The nose is characterized by fresh and fruity aromas, pleasantly sweet and elegant. On the palate it is wide and concentrated, vinous, with a pleasantly long aftertaste on fruity tones.

Perfect to combine with cold cuts or cheese appetizers, it is fabulous with risotto, soups and red meats.
