Description
The Dogliani dei Poderi Luigi Einaudi was born in vineyards located on the rolling hills of Cannubi and Terlo Vie Nuove, in the municipality of Dogliani, in the heart of Piedmont. With the 2011 vintage, Dolcetto di Dogliani DOC becomes Dogliani DOCG.
It is produced exclusively with Dolcetto grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C for about 4-5 days. Subsequently the wine ages in the same containers and for a further period in the bottle before being placed on the market.
It is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with elegant aromas of red fruits, enriched with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is pleasantly fresh, with an almondy finish.
Perfect to accompany appetizers, cold cuts and cold cuts, it is ideal in combination with red meats.
