Description

The Pinot Grigio of the De Stefani company is produced in the Le Ronche farm located in Fossalta di Piave, in the province of Venice. "Le Ronche" is the name of the place where the Pinot Grigio vineyards are located, 10 km from the Adriatic Sea and 50 km from the Dolomites.

It is produced exclusively with Pinot Grigio grapes, harvested in the first days of September. After the destemming-crushing the grapes are softly pressed, followed by the cold decantation of the must and the fermentation which takes place in cement tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine then ages for a few months on its own yeasts, which are periodically put back into suspension through frequent stirring.

Straw yellow in color with coppery reflections, it has a fine bouquet, with aromas of exotic fruit and spices, as well as hints of walnut and toasted almonds. The sip has a good body and a good persistence.

It goes perfectly with appetizers, rich salads with eggs and fish dishes.
