Description

M.Chapoutier's Crozes-Hermitage Rouge Les Meysonniers was born in organically managed vineyards located in the northern part of the famous French wine region of the Rhone Valley.

It is made entirely from 100% Syrah grapes, harvested and selected by hand once it reaches perfect ripeness. Fermentation takes place in the traditional way in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently the wine ages for 12 months in cement tanks, before being bottled.

Les Meysonniers by M. Chapoutier has a deep ruby red colour with violet reflections. The nose opens with intense aromas of black currant, raspberry and strawberry, reached by a pleasant hint of violet. In the mouth it is full-bodied and round, with a persistent finish in which the scene dominates with notes of cooked fruit and vanilla in balance.

This wine is excellent to combine with all types of meat, roast beef, cold cuts and aged cheeses.
