Description
Veuve Ambal's Crémant de Bourgogne Brut Nature originates in one of the most fascinating and famous wine-growing areas in France: Burgundy.
It consists of a blend of grapes divided into Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, complemented by small percentages of Gamay and Aligoté. The vineyards used have clayey and silty soils, very mineral, capable of transferring a particular flavour to the wine. The harvest is done manually, so as to select the bunches. Only the best grapes enter the cellar, where they are softly pressed and sent for vinification. Once the blend has been made, the wine is bottled and started for the second fermentation in the bottle, which provides for a pause on the lees for about 18 months.
The fine perlage highlights the golden hue of the colour. The perfume stands on citrus notes of lemon and lime, with a floral background reminiscent of acacia flowers. The sip is of great freshness and flavour, supported by a full and full-bodied structure.
Perfect to accompany a cod carpaccio on orange and fennel salad.
