Description
Bailly Lapierre's Crémant di Bourgogne Brut Rosé was born in Burgundy, in one of the most famous French wine-growing areas. The winery is a cooperative that since the 1970s has brought together 71 winegrowers from the area. Crémant Rosé is a sparkling wine produced from Pinot Noir (90%) and Gamay (10%) grapes.
The harvest is manual, during which the grapes are placed in 45 kg crates so as not to ruin the bunches. The vinification proceeds with soft pressing, alcoholic fermentation and aging for about 16 months.
The wine has a lively pink color with orange nuances and a fine and persistent perlage. The nose has fresh hints of quite ripe red fruit (cherry, red plum and strawberries) and small fruits (red currants). Thanks to its acidity and its freshness it leaves the palate clean, with a fairly persistent finish.
Crémant Rosé can be drunk as an aperitif, but also combined with land or sea appetizers, cured meats or shellfish.
