Description
Pierre Ponnelle's Crémant de Bourgogne Brut Rosé is a tribute to the fine complexity of Pinot Noir from Burgundy.
Maison Pierre Ponnelle is located in Beaune and grows its grapes in the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune areas. The Brut Rosé version of its Crémant de Bourgogne is made up of 100% Pinot Noir, which following vinification undergoes a second fermentation in bottle with a rest on the lees for 24 months.
It comes in a lively pink colour embellished by a subtle and persistent perlage. The nose clearly recalls the scent of wild strawberries and rose petals, evoking the image of elegance that is found in the taste. Complex, full-bodied and driven by the precision of a fresh-savoury trace that persists for a long time.
Perfect to accompany a seafood lasagna.
