Description
The Sablet by Domaine Piaugier was born in vineyards located in the village Sablet, in the Rhone valley.
It is mainly produced with Grenache and Syrah grapes. The grapes are vinified separately, with a maceration on the skins of approx. 2-3 weeks in concrete tanks and with indigenous yeasts. Subsequently the wine ages in concrete tanks for 18 months.
The Sablet has a ruby red color. The nose opens with aromas of red fruits, undergrowth and black pepper. On the palate it is soft and balanced, with soft tannins and good persistence.
Perfect to accompany grilled red meats, lamb, savory pies and spicy dishes.
