Description
M. Chapoutier's Côtes du Rhône Belleruche was born in vineyards located in the famous Rhone Valley region of France, distributed over 4 different departments: Drôme, Vaucluse, Gard and Ardèche. The very different characteristics of the respective soils give this wine an extraordinary richness and complexity.
It is mainly produced with Grenache and Syrah grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for 15 days. Subsequently the wine ages in the same containers before being bottled.
M. Chapoutier's Belleruche is characterized by a ruby red color. The nose opens with red pulp fruit aromas, enriched with elegant notes of liqurizia and gray pepper. On the palate it is concentrated and fresh, with pleasantly silky tannins supported by an excellent structure.
This wine is perfect to accompany grilled white meats and aged cheeses.
