Description
The Côtes de Provence Sainte Victoire Cuvée Badetty from Château de la Galinière comes from Aix-en-Provence, in the municipality of Châteauneuf-le-Rouge. The vineyards located on the Cengle plateau, at the foot of the Montagne Sainte-Victoire, ensure a privileged position that gives the wine a distinct minerality and unique freshness.
The Syrah, Grenache Noir, Cinsault and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are delicately pressed in pneumatic presses once they reach the cellar. Only the free-run must takes part in the production of this rosé wine, whose fermentation initially takes place at low temperatures, around 14°C, and then gradually rises to 20°C. The process ends with a 3-month refinement in stainless steel.
Bright salmon pink in colour, it expresses itself on the nose with an intense bouquet rich in citrus notes, among which those of grapefruit stand out, embellished with an evident minerality. On the palate it is lively and fresh, with a clean and balanced finish.
Perfect to accompany summer dishes, in particular fresh salads and tomato-based dishes, it doesn't even disdain a white meat-based grill.
