Description
The Côtes de Provence Sainte Victoire of Château de la Galinière comes from the vineyards of the eastern part of Aix-en-Provence, located in the municipality of Châteauneuf-le-Rouge. This unique position gives the wine a characteristic minerality and freshness, thanks to the particular composition of the soil and the ideal microclimate for viticulture.
The grapes used to obtain this rosé wine, Syrah, Grenache Noir, Cinsault and Cabernet Sauvignon, are delicately pressed with the aid of pneumatic presses immediately after arriving in the cellar. Only the free-run must is sent to fermentation, which takes place at a controlled temperature which gradually reaches 20°C from 14°C. The refinement of the wine takes place in stainless steel for 3 months in order to perfect its organoleptic characteristics.
Light salmon pink in colour, it opens on the nose with an intense aroma dominated by citrus notes, in particular pink grapefruit, and reaches a pronounced minerality. On the palate it is frank and balanced, crossed by a lively freshness.
Perfect to pair with summer dishes such as salads or pizza, it goes well with grilled white meats.
