Description
The Côtes de Provence of Château de la Galinière comes from vineyards located on the slopes of the Cengle plateau, near Aix-en-Provence, in the municipality of Châteauneuf-le-Rouge.
The harvest of the Cinsault, Grenache Noir, Vermentino and Syrah grapes, which make up the blend, takes place at night in order to take advantage of the cooler temperatures. After a brief maceration in contact with the skins, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 14°C. Followed by refinement for 3 months in the same containers.
Pale pink in colour, it releases elegant notes of grapefruit and lime on the nose which prelude to a palate with a beautiful structure, but also delicate and complex. It closes on a crunchy and lively finish in which persuasive hints of anise are perceived.
Its freshness makes it ideal both as an aperitif wine and as an accompaniment to delicious appetizers and summer dishes. Also recommended in combination with white meats.
