Description
The origins of Château Ad Francos date back to the sixth century, when the Frankish people settled in the Bordeaux area, and in particular from a hill that was nicknamed Ad Francos, "home of the Franks".
It is obtained from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes, which are vinified in steel tanks. The wine subsequently ages in new French oak barriques for 24 months.
It is characterized by a ruby red color. On the nose it expresses aromas of black fruits, licorice and cocoa, as well as toasted notes. The sip has a good structure, succulent and with a long finish.
Excellent with stewed game.
