Côtes de Bordeaux AOC Blanc 2020 Château Ad Francos
Description
The origins of Château Ad Francos date back to the sixth century, when the Frankish people settled in the Bordeaux area, and in particular from a hill that was nicknamed Ad Francos, "home of the Franks".
It is obtained from Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes, which ferment briefly on the skins. They are vinified in ovoid concrete tanks. The refinement takes place in new barrels for 6 months.
It is characterized by a straw yellow color. On the nose it expresses aromas of peaches, apricots and plums with delicate minty hints. The sip is fine and has good structure and persistence.
Excellent with fish lasagne.
