Côtes de Bordeaux AOC Alios 2019 Château Sainte-Marie

Château Sainte-Marie's Alios comes from the of Entre-deux-Mers region, which straddles the Dordogne and Garonne rivers.

It is made from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot grapes, harvested and selected by hand. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 14 months in French oak barrels, some of which are new.

It is characterised by a purple red colour. The nose opens with aromas of black fruit, enriched with toasted and cedar notes. The palate is round and silky, with elegant tannins and a long and seductive finish.

It is the perfect accompaniment to game birds and grilled red meats, as well as to mature cheeses.
