Description

La Landonne from Domaine Rostaing is made with 100% Syrah grapes within the Côte Rôtie appellation of the Northern Rhône.

The grapes used for this authentically territorial wine come from an enlarged vineyard area since the 1970s and today of 7.5 hectares. Working on difficult-to-cultivate soils, the company selects suitable grapes by vinifying them separately to make this wine with a distinct touch. At the end of the fermentation, the wine obtained is aged for 12 months in barriques used to preserve the varietal character.

Beautiful intense ruby red, reveals the fruity and balsamic part to the nose with notes of pepper, licorice, blackberry jam, toasted coffee. Elegant palate and very pleasant sip for an excellent structure and soft tannins that are the prelude to a long and intense finish.

Long-lived wine, it is suitable for red meats and first courses with mushrooms.
