Description
Louis Jadot's Côte de Beaune-Villages represents a perfect balance between the regional wines of Burgundy and the most prestigious Crus. This appellation can be claimed by all the villages in the Côte de Beaune area, except four: Aloxe-Corton, Beaune, Pommard and Volnay.
The grapes, characterized by small berries of an intense dark red colour, undergo destemming followed by maceration in open tanks for 4 weeks, allowing the subtle terroir to fully reveal itself. The wine then matures in oak barrels for 18 months.
Distinguished by an elegant ruby red color, it releases an enchanting bouquet of red and black fruits on the nose, with accents of spices and a subtle earthy note. This olfactory experience precedes a balanced and rich palate, where ripe fruit blends with soft tannins and a well-integrated freshness, culminating in a persistent and harmonious finish.
It pairs perfectly with red meats and medium-aged cheeses.
