Description
The Côte de Beaune Blanc Les Monsnières from Puy de l'Ours is a distinct example of Chardonnay from the famous Burgundy region, specifically from the Côte de Beaune. Located at the top of the slopes of Beaune, the vineyard benefits from a rocky and clay-limestone soil, which contributes to the phonation of its expressive profile.
The winemaking follows a rigorous organic approach, with whole bunch pressing followed by a 48-hour cold decantation, which allows the freshness and purity of the fruit to be preserved. The refinement continues for 12 months in barrels, which further enriches the complexity of the wine without overpowering its natural characteristics.
Visually, the wine has a light straw yellow color. On the nose, it stands out for a fruity and floral bouquet with citrus notes. In the mouth, it offers an invigorating freshness and liveliness, with a persistence of flavor and minerality that invite a second sip.
This Chardonnay is excellent in combination with white meats, sweet cheeses, fish, cured meats and first courses. Its freshness makes it an ideal choice to enhance different gastronomic contexts.
