Description
Joseph Drouhin's Côte de Beaune Blanc is a Chardonnay wine from vineyards located above the city of Beaune, in the renowned Burgundy region. This white wine is obtained from hand-picked grapes and represents the typical expression of this terroir.
Winemaking begins with slow pressing of the grapes, followed by alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels, with aging lasting 12 to 14 months.
The wine has a bright gold color. On the nose it offers aromas of honey and lemongrass, which with aging evolve into intense notes of toasted hazelnut and almonds. On the palate, it is a harmonious wine, with flavors that reflect the perceived aromas.
This wine pairs perfectly with fish and shellfish dishes.
