Description
The Ligustro La Regola originates from vineyards located in the valley of the Cecina river, just 5 kilometers from the sea, in the municipality of Riparbella.
It consists of Sangiovese grapes with small additions of Syrah grapes. The clusters are brought to the rooms used for winemaking. After pressing, the must ferments in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature. We then proceed with the ageing phase in which the wine rests for 5 months in concrete vats and for at least 12 months in the bottle.
It presents itself to the eye with a color that recalls ruby red. On the nose it gives evident sensations of ripe red fruit. In the mouth it is medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a mineral finish.
Perfect to accompany salami and first courses based on meat sauce, it can be appreciated with grilled red meats and medium-aged cheeses.
