Description
The white wine Droppello Alto from Tenuta Fertuna is made from Sangiovese grapes vinified in white.
It is produced with hand-picked Sangiovese grapes. The grapes are softly pressed. The must obtained is slightly oxidized and rests at a low temperature in steel for a few days. Fermentation takes place at low temperature with a selected blend of native yeasts. The wine then ages for 12 months on the fine lees and then for 6 months in new Allier tonneaux.
Droppello Alto is characterized by an intense straw yellow colour. The nose reveals aromas of white and yellow flowers and white pulp fruit, as well as light spicy notes. The sip is warm and powerful, with good length.
Perfect to accompany fish appetizers, first courses both with fish and with white sauces and with vegetarian cuisine.
