Description

The Corton-Charlemagne from the Douhairet-Porcheret domaine is a tribute to the birth of Vincent and Cataldina's son Ennio, born precisely on the day of the first harvest of this cuvée. This expression of Chardonnay is a hymn to tradition and family that reflects the passion and care lavished in over 300 years of activity.

The Chardonnay bunches are manually selected in the early hours of the morning and collected in small perforated boxes to preserve their integrity. Fermentation follows traditional methods, allowing the wine to fully express its varietal character and terroir of origin. The wine then matures for 12 months in partially new French oak barrels.

It takes on a straw yellow color in the glass, embellished with golden reflections. Its bouquet evokes intense notes of white flowers, green apple and peach, enriched with nuances of sage and thyme. On the palate it is round and velvety, with a long persistence that invites the next sip.

Its elegance and rich aromatic texture make it an ideal companion for fresh cheeses, seafood and fish-based second courses.
