Description
This Grand Cru red wine from Domaine Jacques Prieur was born in a vineyard plot of 0.73 hectares, located on the hill of the Grand Crus of Corton.
It is made entirely of Pinot Noir grapes, which are first destemmed, except for 28% which is vinified with the bunch. This is followed by fermentation lasting 20 days at a controlled temperature. The aging takes place in oak barrels and lasts 21 months.
Ruby red in color with violet hues, it expresses itself on the nose with aromas of wild strawberry, violet and rose, black pepper and nutmeg. The sip is juicy and crunchy, with a persistent finish.
To be paired with important first courses based on meat, including game.
