Description
The Corton Grand Cru Bressandes La Pousse d'Or comes from vineyards located in classic Burgundian soil with limestone and clay. This wine represents the pinnacle of quality of the Domaine de la Pousse d'Or, known for its history and the excellent location of its vineyards which include numerous Premier and Grand Crus. Cultivation techniques close to organic farming and an extremely delicate and natural approach to winemaking and aging highlight the commitment to producing high-quality wines with great aging potential.
The harvest is carried out manually from vines aged between 30 and 50 years. The fermentation of this pinot noir takes place with indigenous yeasts and the aging in French oak barrels, 30% of which are new, for 18 months perfects the profile of the wine without overpowering its natural flavours.
It appears to be of a deep red colour. The olfactory bouquet is intense and complex, with predominant notes of dark berries and elegant touches of well-integrated woody notes. On the palate, the wine stands out for its great finesse, supported by rich and ripe tannins that promise excellent aging. The structure is robust but balanced, capable of evolving magnificently over the years.
This wine pairs ideally with rich and structured dishes, such as elaborate red meats, game and mature cheeses. Its complexity and depth of flavor make it perfect for special occasions where food and wine can be appreciated in their entirety.
