Description

Cornas Brise Cailloux Rouge by Domaine du Coulet is a red wine produced in France, in the Rhône Valley region. This wine is obtained from Syrah grapes grown on highly degraded granite soil, called "Gore". The vineyard extends for 7 hectares, with an average age of the vines of 45 years.

Winemaking involves destemming, spontaneous fermentation and maceration without punching down in concrete vats. The refinement takes place for 18 months always in concrete vats.

Cornas Brise Cailloux Rouge is a wine of great character and structure. This Syrah offers an explosion of spices, flowers and brine, while still maintaining freshness and smoothness thanks to the hand of Matthieu Barret, with an entirely iodized finish.
