Description

Penley Francis Cabernet Franc is a red wine produced with 100% Cabernet Franc grapes, grown in the vineyards of the Coonawarra region, Australia. This wine expresses the freshness and liveliness of the Australian terroir through a careful selection of grapes.

The vinification involves fermentation with delicate management of the cap to preserve the fruity and spicy aromas, followed by refinement which allows for fine tannins and a well-balanced structure to be obtained. The maturation process helps to create a complex and harmonious wine.

On the nose, Penley Francis Cabernet Franc offers aromas of raspberry, licorice, cherry, cardamom and pink pepper. On the palate, it is floral, fragrant and crunchy, with fine tannins and a heart of red fruits and spices. The finish is bright and refreshing.

This Cabernet Franc pairs perfectly with impromptu dinners, tasty fish and appetizers.
