Description
The Conero Cùmaro Riserva of Umani Ronchi was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Osimo, in the province of Ancona.
It is produced exclusively with Montepulciano grapes, harvested only by hand in the second ten days of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 27-29 ° C for 12-14 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barrique for 12-14 months and for further 6-8 months in bottle before being released on the market.
Cùmaro is characterized by a ruby red color, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with a large and intense bouquet of plums, currants and morello cherries, enriched with pleasant hints of black pepper, vanilla and tobacco. On the palate it is soft and enveloping, with smooth tannins and a finish with a chocolatey aftertaste.
Perfect to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
