Description

The Collio Friulano DOC Rassauer Castello di Spessa is one of the noblest expressions of Friulano from the Castello di Spessa winery.

Created in steel with a short maceration, to extract more aromas from the Friulano grapes, this wine refines in steel only until the end of March, and then rests in the bottle.

In the glass, the beautiful intense straw yellow colour with golden notes announces a white with complex and intense aromas. The nose is caressed by floral notes of broom, accompanied by juicy aromas of peach and ripe apricot, with pleasant mineral hints. A pleasant wine in perfect balance between softness and flavour, with a long and creamy finish.

A delicious Friulano with San Daniele raw ham cut with a knife, a must with hard-boiled eggs and asparagus and omelettes in general, but also to be tried with risotto and fresh pasta with white sauce.
